SoE Students Conduct Symposium

Design Project 2 (DESPRO2) students from the School of Engineering (SoE) showcased their thesis projects last August 30, 2018 during the Engineering Symposium held at the Asia Pacific College (APC) Auditorium. Senior High School (SHS) students from different schools were invited to witness the presentation prepared by each group. The schools were Pasay City South High School, Sto. Nino Catholic School, and Moreh Academy.

The 5 projects that were presented by each group are as follows:

These projects are part of two main umbrella projects which are the Metropolitan Health Indicator, and the Solar Energy Optimization. The symposium included an exhibit where the Engineering students were able to demonstrate the functionality of their projects.

The Engineering Symposium was attended by judges who determined the recipients of the Best Exhibit and Best Presenter awards. The invited judges were Ms. Kareen Gancio, Director for APC’s English and Communication Program (ECP); ECP Faculty Members, Mr. Jonathan Mangao and Ms. Celeste Beboso; and Ms. Jophel Tapispisan, Chief Radiologic Technologist at Maharlika Lab.
